Milk Cookies

These are treacherously delicious, dangerously addictive, absolutely not good for your diet but totally worth it!

No need to say more.

U need (for about 20-30 cookies)
The dough:
1 ½ cups of all purpose flour
100 grams of butter, softened
1 tablespoon of cream
1/4 cups of sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 egg yolks
a pinch of salt
The filling:
200 grams of butter, softened
200 grams of icing sugar
250 grams of powdered milk
a few tablespoons of milk (to soften the filling a bit)

How to make it

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Line a baking tray with a sheet of baking paper.

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the dough until they all combine well, form a ball out of the dough, put it back in the bowl and place it in the fridge for about half an hour.

Remove the dough from the fridge and roll it out on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about ¼ cm (very thin!). Cut out little circles (with a shot glass for example) and place them on the tray with the baking paper.
Gather the dough leftovers and make a ball out of them and repeat the process, until you have no more dough left.
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, until golden brown. Make the filling while the cookies cool down.

For the filling: In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the filling. Add a little bit of milk, if needed, in order to make the filling more “manageable”. Place the filling in a piping bag or a zip lock bag with the point cut off and cover half of the cookies with it. Place the other half of the cookies on top of that.

And start eating, one after another :D

Enjoy!
