Zucchini Fritters

These easy Zucchini Fritters are a delicious way to make use of zucchini. They are tasty, quick and easy to make.

Pasta pomodoro with baked ricotta

This pasta dish uses a basic tomato sauce, which I have used in other recipes as well. Combined with the baked ricotta that I have also made before, only with a slight twist to it this time (I added sundried tomatoes to the mix).

Crispy Duck with Oranges

I have always been scared of making duck. Always thought it is a very complicated, difficult and long process to get that crispy effect of the skin and perfectly soft, melt-in-the-mouth kinda meat. But I tried and it turns out it’s dead easy and doesn’t take much time at all! Why did I not know this before?!

Lentil Cream Soup

Winter has decided to make a comeback and it looks like it is here to stay for a while. No better meal for a cold winter day than a hearty, nutritious and filling lentil cream soup. Winter is the time for soups, especially those thick ones, served really hot.

Tuna Ragout

I admit, this is not the most fancy or sophisticated meal and definitely not as photogenic as some of the other stuff I try to make. But, it is wholesome and nutritious, simple and easy to prepare and just perfect for those busy days when you just don’t have a lot of time to prepare dinner. And I tend to have a lot of those lately.

Banana Cake

Homemade cakes – love baking them, love eating them! My guilty pleasure. I always try to involve some fruit, so I feel a little bit less guilty about the pleasure (don’t know if banana counts though…). It is also the one and only way to get my hubby to eat some fruit – put it in a cake and he’ll eat it!
