I guess it is time for some festive recipes. Christmas is around the corner and I know that most mums/grandmothers (wifes, girlfriends, or dads, grandfathers, boyfriends, etc.) are already thinking what to serve their families for Christmas dinner. Over the coming weeks I will try to give you some ideas for delicious, nice-looking, but still fairly easy to cook possible Christmas foods.

Risotto with Wild Mushrooms


What is one of the most important ingredients of a good risotto? Saffron. This is what gives this dish its distinctive yellow color, flavor and aroma.
